Our favorite rally car? The Celica GT-Four of course! Remember it on PlayStation?

The GT- Four was a homologated Japanese rally car that dominated WRC (World Rally Championship) in the early 90s.

The Celica GT-Four came in 3 generations - ST165, ST185, and ST205, all were all wheel drive and were powered by the 3S-GTE motor.

▴2 - ▴3 The ST165 was produced from 1986 to 1989, winning its first race at Rally Australia in 1989 and culminating with the WRC Driver’s Title in 1990.

The ST185 was produced from 1989 to 1993, winning WRC drivers titles in 1992, 1993, and 1994 and also winning the WRC Manufacturers title in 1993 and 1994. â–´4 The rarest of the ST185 was the GT-Four RC, which only 5000 were produced for homologation.

â–´5 The ST205 was produced from 1994 to 1999, and although not as successful in competition as the previous generations, at the time it was the most powerful Celica to be built and also the most technologically advanced.
